At some point you have to recognize the patterns in your life that cause you harm and hurt and realize that those patterns must be changed. This rune indicates the strength to effect those changes that are now affecting you. You are now in a position to defend yourself and move forward. Now when faced with the same emotional or financial problems or issues that you have had in the past, you can recognize what has been incorrect behaviour and decision making, and deal with it differently and stop the cyclic pattern of hurt and destruction.
